RSSTicker has the following features
- The Desktop News Ticker area is excluded from the Windows desktop area and is still visible when windows are maximized.
- Flicker free scrolling text supports all HTML attributes, and is downloaded from Internet (RSS formats). An image, movie or audio file can be displayed in overlay when the user passes the mouse over a newstopic. Click on news item the default browser is being opened.
- Setingsmenu for autorun at computer start-up- always on top, extra description ticekrbar, tooltip messages, scrolling speed, scrolling direction (for Arabic, Hebrew Langauge), autoupdate time, bar position (up or down), advertisements.
- Options Menu for hiding the ticker, manually update feeds, change account, help, and uninstall.
